Switch user account

The CRO user can quickly switch between their principal account and any of their alternate accounts without logging out of Empirica.

The Switch Account option is available only if the user is a principal that has alternate accounts or is logged in as an alternate account. You can keep your principal account for CRO-level activities and use the appropriate alternate account to perform CRO customer-level activities such as Signal Review or Signal Assessment.

Note:

If a principal account is disabled, then it's not possible to log in to an alternate account because this action is performed from within Empirica. If an alternate account is disabled it is not possible to switch to it.

1. At the top of the page, select your user name and select Switch Account.
   The Switch Account page appears showing the current account.
2. From the Switch to drop-down menu, select the account you want to switch to.
   • If you logged in as the principal account, then the drop-down list lists the alternate accounts in alphabetic order. You can switch to any of the alternate accounts.
   • If you logged in as an alternate account, then the drop-down list lists the principal account first followed by a list of alternate accounts in alphabetic order. You can switch to the principal or any of the alternate accounts.
3. Select OK.
   Empirica logs out the current user and logs in the selected user.
