We added validation to PI replace requests so only updates with actual field changes are accepted.

Replace PI

In release 25.1.1, Oracle Site Activate introduces new validation to the PI replace API route that ensures your request includes actual updates to principal investigator fields.

If you submit a request without modifying any supported PI fields, it will now be rejected with the message “No changes detected for the provided principal investigator fields.” When you update at least one field, including setting a value to null, the request will be accepted as expected.
