NetSuite for Government Version 24.12.3 – Release Date December 17, 2024
Finance:- General Ledger Summary Screens:
- Ability to consolidate the retained earnings to a single account by fund.
- 1099: 2024 Support:
- The Payments Issued in a Different Year report was created for the purpose of 1099 review to ensure that payments which are voided and reissued in the new year are reported to the IRS correctly. Review this report to view 1099 eligible vendor payments where the Bill is in one calendar year and the payment in the next. If the payment were voided and reissued in the new year, and already reported to the IRS, then check the Do Not Include in 1099 on the applicable bills to prevent them from reporting again.
- The Purchase Order may now be defined as a parent document. This allows additional purchase orders to be entered against the parent PO, typically for blanket agreements and contract orders.
- Performance improvements were made to the 1099 Federal CSV export based on additional selection criteria.
Human Resources and Payroll:
- Time Off Carry Over:
- New functionality is available to configure the automatic carry over of Time-Off Balances. Agencies can now schedule the execution of the carry over balances, apply a balance limit, automatically cash out excess hours, or move excess hours to a separate Time Off bucket such as Sick Leave, or Sick Donated.
- Added fields to the Time-Off Plan:
- Maximum Carry Over Hour Code
- Apply Maximum Carry Over on Employee's Accrual Longevity Anniversary
- Maximum Carry Over Hour Bucket for Limit
- Leave Tracking - Time Off Plans:
- Users will now get a negative time off error correctly based on the running balance instead of only using calendar year balances.
- Florida Retirement System:
- Optimized the Florida Retirement System query in NetSuite to resolve performance issues occurring with the new FRS reporting period for large data sets.
