NetSuite for Government Reporting Version 24.12.1 – Release Date December 27, 2024

Finance:
  • Government Reports:
    • Government Reporting enhancement provide additional tools for tracking compliance, financial transparency, and operational efficiency, tailored to meet regulatory and public sector reporting requirements.
  • Roles and Permissions:
    • Extend Government Reporting access to NetSuite for Government roles.
  • Finance Reports Enhancements:
    • Added header and a timestamp in PDF at bottom of the report.
Various Fixes and Performance Improvements

Human Resources and Payroll:

  • State Compliance PreRequisites and Reports (PERS, SUI, W2):
    • To accurately report the employee wage code for the Oregon PERS, users can now input the corresponding Reported Wage Code value into the Wage Code field (custrecord_ns4g_empretire_wagecd) found in the Employee Retirement record. To establish new wage codes, access the State Compliance Setup record (customrecord_ns4g_statecompliance) and create a new record with the Type set to Wage Code and the State as Oregon. Input the Wage Code long description into the Name field, the Code Field (custrecord_ns4g_statecompliance_code) must be filled out with the appropriate Wage Code value, as this is how the Oregon PERS reports are configured to return the information. A revised mapping for the Subject Salary, Overtime to employ the following pay bucket: PERS Overtime Pay, alongside the corresponding Payroll ID: ns4g_persableot_pay.
Various Fixes and Performance Improvements
  • Resolving an issue related to the Oregon 132 report by making a change to the pay bucket. We will be replacing the current pay bucket, State Unemployment Eligible Wages, with the Oregon SUI Taxable Wages pay bucket; Payroll ID: ns4g_oregonsuiwage_pay. This update will ensure that the correct payroll information is reflected.
