Add a Sub-location

You must be a Payment Administrator to add a sub-location. After a sub-location is added, the Payment Administrator must assign users to the sub-location.

A sub-location itself can have sub-locations.

For more details about required privileges, see Predefined Payment Groups and Privileges.

  1. Click Locations at the bottom of the dashboard, and then click the location you want to add a sub-location to.
  2. Click Add Sub-location.
  3. Complete the required fields.
    • The address and phone number fields are automatically filled in with details from the parent, but can be edited except for the country. The sub-location must have a name and unique reference.
    • The Location Reference must be unique within your organization. It’s used for integrating other applications with Oracle Payment Cloud Service, so make sure it is known to external systems to identify the location. Once the location is linked to a business account, it can’t be changed.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. (Optional) Create a payment location now: If you want this sub-location to be able to process payments, assign it to a business account now.

TIP: If you have come from the onboarding steps to add a location, it is recommended to assign via Onboarding Step 6, Assign Locations to Accounts

  1. Select Yes when prompted to make this a payment location.
  2. Select the Business, then the Business Unit, and then select the Business Account. The Business and Business Unit selections filter the list of available Business Accounts. As a Payment Administrator you will only see Business Account you are a ‘user’ of, meaning you have full control of the account.
  3. (Optional) Review and update the Merchant Category Code and Industry Code, if needed.

  4. (Optional) Review and update the card statement descriptor, if needed.

  5. Click Add.
