Unassign the Terminal

You must have permissions for the current location to unassign the terminal from it. Unassigning a terminal means you were no longer be able to process payments on it until registered to a new payment location.

  1. Click Terminals at the bottom of the dashboard.
  2. Find the terminal you want to unassign, click the actions menu three dots, and then click Unassign Terminal.
  3. If there are workstations linked to the terminals, you will be prompted that these must be removed to continue:
    1. Cancel the prompt,
    2. Click the actions menu three dots, on the terminal and then click Edit Terminal,
    3. Click the three horizontal lines icon, then Delete Row and Save,
    4. click the actions menu three dots, and then click Unassign Terminal.
  4. Review the prompt and click Unassign.
