Promotion, Markdown and Regular Access

Users must be assigned the appropriate role before they can access Promotion or Markdown or Regular Pricing functionality in LPO.

• Promotion users can access Promotion entry points, Promotion runs in Run Overview, Promotion recommendations in Manage Recommendation, Promotion actions, Promotion metrics, and Promotion rules in Control and Tactical Center.
• Markdown users can access Markdown entry points, Markdown runs in Run Overview, Markdown recommendations in Manage Recommendation, Markdown actions, Markdown metrics, and Markdown rules in Control and Tactical Center.
• Users assigned both roles can access both Promotion and Markdown functionality and rules.
• Regular Pricing users can access Regular Pricing runs, recommendations, actions, metrics, and Regular Pricing rules. They do not automatically receive access to Promotion or Markdown functionality.
• Targeted Offer users can access Targeted Offer entry points, Targeted Offer recommendations in Manage Recommendation, Targeted Offer actions, and Targeted Offer metrics. They do not automatically receive access to Promotion, Markdown, or Regular Pricing functionality.
• Users without an applicable role cannot access the related LPO screens or Rules Management tasks.

Note:

Users who are not assigned an applicable role cannot access the related LPO screens or Rules Management tasks in Control and Tactical Center. Administrators must assign the appropriate role before users attempt to access Promotion or Markdown functionality. Users who previously had access and have not been assigned the new roles will lose access to the applicable screens.
