4 Users, Roles, and Privileges

LPO supports a comprehensive security model combining both data-level and role-based access controls. This ensures that users access only the data and features relevant to their role and assigned responsibilities.

Data-Level Security

Data access determines which merchandise, locations and recommendations you can access.

For example: a user assigned only to United States locations can view recommendations and optimization runs for those locations but cannot access data for Europe or other regions.

Role-Based Security

Role-based access governs what actions you can perform within the application interface, ensuring you see and interact only with features relevant to your responsibilities.
