A Note to Existing Customers about 23.1.101.0

This move to the latest Oracle Retail architecture is not automatic and not immediately available for existing customers. Environments already provisioned in the existing architecture will continue to use current processes such as SFTP and Basic authentication for REST services with no changes to your day-to-day activities. For further information or to start discussing your move, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or log an SR. This release is available for Merchandise Financial Planning, Retail Demand Forecasting, and Assortment Planning.

New Feature Descriptions

This section describes the new features.

Export Admin Dashboard to Excel from the UI

Administration users can now export the dashboard task status to Excel from the application UI. With this request, the administration user will be able to quickly share the administration UI contents with non-administration users. This will make it easier to share what has run and indicate any issues or non-issues that may have happened.

The documentation change is outlined below:

See the Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server Cloud Edition Administration Guide for update 23.1.101.0.

Improved Messaging for Ending User Sessions

A confirmation message is now displayed when administration users try to end all user sessions. This message is to notify the administration user and display the names of all user sessions before ending the session, so that the administration user can make an informed decision.

Shared Services Offer Metrics/Versions/Modules

Oracle Retail planning cloud services now provide support for managing modules through the Retail Home Customer Module Management framework and support for tracking subscription metric usage through the Application Dashboard of Retail Home.

Formatting for Position Dimension Level Header and Cell Styles

With this release, the user can now set the formatting for position dimension levels’ header and cells. This feature will help users to distinctly point out the aggregated level data (that is, month, season, or dept, division) on the huge data sheets (pivot table) against the lowest level data.

For example, a planner has three product levels displayed on the pivot table, that is, Department, Sub-class, and Style color. With this functionality, the planner can change the department header and cell formatting to distinctly point out the aggregated level from the style colors header and cells.

The documentation change is outlined below:

See the Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server Cloud Edition User Guide for update 23.1.101.0.

Additional Exception Condition in Formatting

Exception formatting now provides additional conditions for users to provide more flexibility. Users can now apply the following conditions in exception formatting: greater than, less than, equal, greater than equal to, less than equal to, and between.

For example, a planner can highlight the style colors that have returns greater than 25% using the exception conditional formatting.

The documentation change is outlined below:

See the Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server Cloud Edition User Guide for update 23.1.101.0.

Optimize Refreshing of Updated Attributes

The refreshing of the updated attributes is now improved to provide a better user experience. The attributes edits will be refreshed without explicitly using the Refresh Attribute action. The attribute edits are updated with Calculated, Commit actions in all the views and workbooks.

The documentation change is outlined below:

See the Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server Cloud Edition User Guide for update 23.1.101.0.

Ability to Clear All Notifications

Users can now delete all notifications using the Delete All button from the quick access button and Actions menu of the Notification table. Also, users can select all notifications using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+A and the Delete action to delete all notifications.

The documentation change is outlined below:

See the Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server Cloud Edition User Guide for update 23.1.101.0.

Export Option Available in the Action Menu

The Export action is now also available in the Global menu Action sub-section for quick access.

The documentation change is outlined below:
