Adding a Request

To add temporary store requests:

  1. Select Add New. The Temporary Store Request window is displayed.

  2. Enter/select the following fields:

    • Request Type

      Select the request type event or extension from the list.

    • Description

      Enter a description for the request.

    • Store

      Enter or search for a store number.

    • Event Start Date

      Enter a start date for the event.

    • Sever Active Date

      Enter the active date for the server. This field is optional. Connections t o the temporary store will be restricted to the start date unless a server active date is set here.

    • Event End Date

      Enter a start date for the event.

    • Is the temporary store in the same tax location? checkbox

      If checked, the temporary store will use the same tax location as the brick-and-mortar tax location.

      If unchecked, you will be prompted for a tax location for the temporary store during the register open process.

      Note:

      The checkbox is only available for the request type extension.

    • Available Servers

      Select a server from the list.

    • Is the server not in this list? checkbox

      If you select this checkbox, the following fields are displayed:

    • Server Hostname

      Enter the hostname of the new server.

      • Server Port

        Enter the port of the new server.

      • Register Range Start

      • Register Range End

    • Comments

      Enter comments for the request, if necessary.

  3. Click Save to store the temporary store request. The request is displayed on the Temporary Store Request page. The status of the request is submitted.
