RFID Events

An RFID event is an event captured when the RFID scanning system performs its scan. There are three types of events: ADD, DELETE, and OBSERVE.

• An ADD event indicates a new tag has been found within the zone and facility.
• A DELETE event indicates an RFID tag has left the zone or facility.
• An OBSERVE event indicates the RFID tag is present. Values that can be updated on the tag are item identifier, location type, location identifier, and zone identifier.
