Request to Enable Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Monitoring Feature
Oracle cloud services support the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Monitoring feature that enables the cloud customer to receive the Monitoring / Key Metrics data into their OCI Tenancy.
If the customer requirement is to receive Monitoring / Key Metrics data directly into their OCI Tenancy, they must create a service request with the Oracle Cloud Operations team. Please refer to the Oracle Utilities Cloud Services Administration Guide for more information.
Request Specifications
- The customer must provide the following as part of service request:
- Customer Cloud Account Name
- Customer Cloud Account Short Code
- Customer Tenancy Name
- Customer Tenancy OCID
- The compartment name
- The compartment OCID
- Policies created in root compartment (Y/N)
Customer Obligations
- The customer must submit one service request per Tenant including Prod and all non-prod environments.
Oracle Cloud Ops Team Obligations
- Acknowledge and schedule the execution of service request.
- Execute steps to complete the service request
- Notify the customer upon completion of the activity
Service Level Objective
- Advanced Notice: 7 business days
- Acknowledge/ Schedule: 2 business days
- Execution Time: 7 business days
- Outage Expected: Yes
