Email Header Module and Subject Lines

These modules deliver high-level information to the customer and introduces users to their weekly emails. These modules are used in all weekly emails, and they include the following:

• Subject lines and preview text that the customer sees before they open the email.
• Header information about who is sending the email and basic customer information the customer sees after they open the email.

User Experience

A subject line is included in each email so the reader understands what the email is about before they open it. Preview text is also available, and allows the reader to hover over the email for additional information.

Subject Line: The subject lines are designed to engage customers. An example of a subject line is, "Michael, you spent less on electricity during peak hours last week (Sep 17 - Sep 23)".

Subject lines change based on the following criteria:

• Which email the customer receives.
• Whether the email contains cost or usage data.
• Whether the customer spent more or less for the covered time period.

Preview Text: This text is available when the customer hovers over their email, and provides them with more information about what they might expect to find in the email. For example, "Way to go! Check out savings tips to continue the trend."

The header contains the following components:

Utility Logo: The header includes a logo provided by the utility.

Account Number: The header contains the full or partial account number of the customer.
