Layouts
Use the Layouts page to create and manage layouts for pages and page styles for all portals (if accessed through the Shared Assets page) or for the current portal (if accessed through the Assets page). More
Layouts can be applied to new or existing pages or page styles. WebCenter Portal provides several built-in layouts.
Only users with at least the default permissions assigned to the Administrator
or Application Specialist
role can manage layouts.
Element | Description |

Click to delete the currently selected layout. More You cannot delete a built-in layout. |

Click to open the Upload New Layout dialog, where you can enter the name of an AAR file to use to import a layout into WebCenter Portal. More The AAR file can be located on the local file system or the file system on a server. |

Click to open the Download dialog, where you can export the selected layout to an AAR file on your local file system or the file system on a server. The AAR file can then be edited in tools such as Oracle JDeveloper. More You cannot download the built-in layouts. |

Enter a full or partial search string then click To clear the current search string and display all layouts, click |

Click to refresh the list of layouts. |

Select to indicate whether the layout is published or not. More

Modified By |
Displays the user name of the user who last edited the layout and the date and time at which the changes were made. |
Actions |
There are no additional actions for layouts. |
