Subscriptions Preferences

Use the Subscriptions preferences page to identify the types of application activities that will trigger a notification and for managing current subscriptions.

Note:

Specify the channel over which to receive notification using the Messaging Preferences. If you cannot access Messaging Preferences, it means your application is configured to use mail, which is the default channel.

The Subscriptions preferences page is divided into two tabs:

General Subscriptions

Use the options on the General Subscriptions tab to set up your personal application-level subscriptions. Your selections here define the types of application-level activities that trigger a notification. For example, you can use these controls to trigger a notification whenever you are added as a member of a portal. Notifications are sent over the channels you specify through the Messaging Preferences.

The options that appear on the General Subscriptions tab are controlled by your administrator. The administrator determines whether an option appears, the option's default value, and whether you are authorized to change that default. Consequently, the options described here may differ from the ones you see on the General Subscriptions tab. More
