How to Enable a Resource Fault Monitor
-
On any cluster member, assume the root role that
provides solaris.cluster.modify RBAC authorization.
-
Enable the resource fault monitor.
# clresource monitor [-n nodelist] resource
- –n nodelist
-
Specifies a comma-separated, ordered list of nodes on which to monitor the
resource.
This list is optional. If you omit this list, the resource is monitored on
all nodes in its resource group's node list.
Note -
If you specify more than one node with the –n option, you
can specify only one resource.
- resource
-
Specifies the name of the resource or resources.
-
Run the clresource command on each cluster node and
check for monitored fields (RS Monitored) to verify that the
resource fault monitor has been enabled.
# clresource show -v
Example 16 Enabling a Resource Fault Monitor
# clresource monitor resource-1
# clresource show -v
