Configure Digital Customer Service Application
In this next step, you will configure the new template within the Visual Builder application. It entails adding the users that will be accessing this application, defaulting the application profiles, as well as updating the back-end services to point to the existing Fusion application that will be used for this integration.
- To add the account administrator role:

in the upper right of the page.
- Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
- On the Settings page, select the Users Roles tab.
- Select Default from the Application Profile drop-down menu in the upper right of the page.
- If users are already assigned to the role, then only the Edit icon appears instead of the Assign groups or users option. In the Account_Administrator role, select the Edit icon.
- In the Change Assignments dialog, select Add users via
search in the Users side of the dialog.
Enter the name of the user that will be the account administrator and it should be the same as the administrative user in the Fusion application. For example, john.dunbar.
- Click the “+” icon to the left of the user(s) that you want to make the account administrator and then click Save Changes.
- Click
- To add the User roles, repeat the above steps (starting from step 1e)
for the user role adding any generic users that you wish to have access to this
Visual Builder application. For example, john.dunbar, bala.gupta,
cole.mitchell, joshua.baker, etc.
- To update the application profiles of the default configuration:

- On the Settings page, select the Application Profiles tab.
- Click
to the right of the Default application.
- Select the Make development default option from the drop-down menu. Shortly, you will see a new icon that appears just to the left of the hamburger menu.
- Repeat the above step 2 and then select Make state
default and Make publish default.
Note:
At this point, there should be three icons to the left of theand those options in the drop-down menu should be disabled in the Default application profile.
- To select the FA services backend servers:

- Select the Services option from the left navigation menu.
- Under the Services section, select the Backends tab. From the list, select Oracle Cloud Applications.
- On the fa page, select the Servers tab.
- To update the default service backend without a user proxy:

- On the List of Servers page, click the Edit icon just to the right of Default Oracle Cloud Applications Server without user proxy.
- In the Instance URL field, specify the Fusion application
server URL. For example,
https://oceserver.cec.ocp.oraclepcloud.com
. - From the Authentication for Anonymous Users drop-down menu, select Same as Authenticated User.
- Click Save.
- To update the development service backend with a user proxy:

- On the List of Servers page, click the Edit icon just to the right of Default Oracle Cloud Applications Server with user proxy.
- In the Instance URL field, specify the Fusion application
server URL. For example,
https://oceserver.cec.ocp.oraclepcloud.com
. - Select the Allow anonymous access to the service connection infrastructure check box.
- From the Authentication for Anonymous Users drop-down menu, select Same as Authenticated User.
- From the Authenticated for Logged-In Users drop-down menu, select Oracle Cloud Account.
- Click Save.
