Create Digital Customer Service Application

In this next step, you will create the Digital Customer Service application using a pre-build Visual Builder template. This template has the necessary code already in place for integration with service requests but not the OCM integration. The OCM integration will come later in this document.

Note:

If a Digital Customer Service application has already been installed in your Visual Builder instance, then edit that application and skip these steps.


  1. Sign in to the Oracle Visual Builder CRM as an administrator.
  2. Click the New button in the upper right.
  3. In the Create Application dialog, do the following:
    1. In the Application Name field, enter the name of the application as Digital Customer Service with OCM integration.
    2. The Application ID field is automatically filled in when the application name is specified in the step above.
    3. In the Application Template section, select Change Template. Enter Digital Customer Service in the Search Templates... field.

      Select the latest version of the Digital Customer Service application from the template list.

  4. Click Finish to create the application.

    Note:

    If an upgrade message appears, select the Upgrade button.
