Clear a Media Validation Drive Reservation
In rare cases, a remote client (such as STA) may be unable to clear a reservation that it has on a media validation drive. You may need to manually clear the reservation.
You can clear a reservation if the drive is empty, but currently reserved by a
remote client. Normally, the remote client manages drive reservations, so you should
only perform this procedure if the remote client is unable to clear the reservation
itself.
- From the Library page or Drives table, right-click the drive.
- Click Clear MV Reservation.
