Clear a Media Validation Drive Reservation

In rare cases, a remote client (such as STA) may be unable to clear a reservation that it has on a media validation drive. You may need to manually clear the reservation.

You can clear a reservation if the drive is empty, but currently reserved by a remote client. Normally, the remote client manages drive reservations, so you should only perform this procedure if the remote client is unable to clear the reservation itself.
  1. From the Library page or Drives table, right-click the drive.
  2. Click Clear MV Reservation.
