Creating a case series from a results table

If a results table has 20 or fewer rows, you can create a new case series containing the case IDs of cases represented. You can also add the case IDs to an existing case series that was created from results of the same data mining run.

If you create a case series from the results of a data mining run for timestamped data, the case series has the same As Of date as the data mining run.

1.         Click the Data Mining Runs tab.

The Data Mining Runs page appears.

2.         Click the row menu (Row menu) for the run, and then click View Results.

The Select Criteria page appears.

or

Click the Data Mining Results tab.

The Select Criteria page appears.

3.         From the Run name drop-down list, select the run. (Your user preference, Default Run, determines which run, if any, is selected by default.) You can also click Browse next to the Run name field to find and select a run.

4.         Specify selection criteria on the Select Criteria page, then click View Results Table.

The Results Table page appears.

5.         On the Results Table page, click Add to Case Series.

If there are more than 20 rows in the results table, an error message appears. Click Continue and change your selection criteria to restrict results to 20 or fewer rows.

If there are existing case series created from results of the same data mining run, the Add Cases from Selected Results page appears.

6.         Click Select for a case series.

The cases are added to the selected case series.

or

If there are no existing case series created from results of the same run, or if you click New Case Series, the Create Case Series page appears.

7.         In the Name field, type a name for the case series. The name does not need to be unique, although Oracle recommends that you use a unique name.

8.         The name of the run appears by default in the Description field as the description of the case series. Edit the description as necessary.

9.         To add the case series to an existing project, click Add to existing project and select the project from the drop-down list.

10.      To add the case series to a new project, click Add to new project named and type the name of the project.

11.      Click Save.

The Case Series page appears listing the case series.
