Saving a query

1.         Click the Queries tab.

The Queries page appears and lists your queries and queries published to you.

2.         Filter the list as necessary. For more information, see Viewing existing queries.

3.         From a row menu (Row menu) for a query, click Add Query to Library.

The Save Query page appears.

4.         In the Name field, enter a name for the query. The name does not need to be unique, although Oracle recommends that you use a unique name.

5.         In the Description field, optionally enter an informative description of the query.

6.         To assign the query to an existing project, click Add to existing project and select the project from the drop-down list. Only projects associated with objects that you created or that are published to you appear in the list.

To create a new project and assign the query to it, click Add to a new project named and enter a project name.

7.         Click OK.
