5.36.1 Introduction

The A_SpecimenObservationEvent (identified/confirmable) CMET identifies an observation made on a particular specimen. It includes information about the patient whose record documents the observation, author, verifier, responsible Organization, reference range, and so on. The staff who documented the observation can be identified.
