The R_DietItem (universal) CMET represents a type of Food item, either naturally occurring or processed/manufactured, in the role of a distributed material. Each instance of this CMET represents a single food item as defined by the ManufactureMaterialKind; when used in a request for diet, the number of items requested is specified in the Diet Request focal class. A diet item may be a manufactured product associated with a manufacturing organization.
