5.34.1 Introduction

The A_ProcedureOrder (universal) CMET represents a verified order placed by a certified provider for procedures on a particular Patient. It includes information about an order. This includes placing new orders, cancellation of existing orders, discontinuation, holding, and so on. Orders can originate with placers, fillers, or interested third parties. This model also includes information about the patient subject, verifier, responsible organization, criteria governing fulfillment.
