5.14.1 Introduction

The A_Encounter (universal) CMET represents an interaction between a Patient and the Care Provider for healthcare-related services. It includes participations for staff members, responsible organization, and service delivery location. This model is a replica of the Encounter Event RMIM except that the subject participation to the Patient is optional. This CMET allows enough information to be included to create an encounter by itself.
