5.13.1 Introduction

The A_Encounter (identified/confirmable) CMET identifies an interaction between a Patient and the Care Provider for healthcare-related services. It includes participations for staff members, responsible organization, and service delivery location. This CMET is designed for the purpose of identifying an encounter and/or allowing enough information to be included to create an encounter by itself.
