Summarization

When you create an ad hoc report, you can include summary data in the report output. Summary data provides high-level information such as totals, counts, calculations, minimum and maximum values, and so forth. The summary data that is available depends on the report element for which you are providing summary data.

In addition to providing the option to summarize specific data in ad hoc report outputs, the Ad Hoc Reporting workspace automatically suppresses duplicate data in the report output, and displays only unique combinations of data.
