Create a Fairshare Constraint

A fair share policy allows you to allocate a share (a percentage of the available resource) based on a representative load of each partition in the domain. Use this page to create a fair share constraint for a resource.

Configuration Options

Name Description
Resource Type

Specifies the type of resource requiring a fair share constraint value.

MBean Attribute:
RCMResourceMBean.Name

Changes take effect after you redeploy the module or restart the server.

Resource Name

The name of the resource.

MBean Attribute:
RCMResourceMBean.Name

Changes take effect after you redeploy the module or restart the server.

Fairshare Name

Name of the fairshare constraint.

MBean Attribute:
FairShareConstraintMBean.Name

Changes take effect after you redeploy the module or restart the server.

Value

The amount allocated (a percentage of the available resource) for a fairshare constraint.

MBean Attribute:
FairShareConstraintMBean.Value

Minimum value: 1

Maximum value: 1000
