Siebel Email Response in a Global Environment


Siebel Email Response supports Unicode and filtering templates by using language and locale settings in a single Siebel environment. Whether or not the Siebel database uses Unicode, incoming email content is converted to Unicode. If the Siebel database uses Unicode, then all characters are saved in the Siebel database after the conversion. Any characters that the in-use code set does not support are not saved after the conversion. Table 4 describes the global deployment resources.
