The bundled NVIDIA graphics driver has been upgraded to version 331.38. This driver no longer supports the G4x-G7x family of graphics processor units supported in Ultra 20, Ultra 40, Ultra 20 M2, and Ultra 40 M2 workstations.
The system does not display an explicit error message. The desktop uses the VESA graphics driver, which is slower than the NVIDIA accelerated driver and supports limited display resolutions. You might experience desktop unresponsiveness or non-optimal resolutions when using the monitors.
Workaround: Download the latest 173 legacy driver from NVIDIA and install the driver following the instructions at:
