The root.sh script fails to start nodeapps for IPv4 or IPv6 in an Oracle Solaris Zone installed with Oracle Database 12c Release 1 (12.1.0.2.0). Attempts to start the node-level applications using the srvctl start nodeapps command will fail as the Oracle Database uses physical network names instead of virtual network names.
The following error message is displayed:
CLSRSC-287: FirstNode configuration failed
