On M6-32 servers, the listing of LUNs by using commands such as format and mpathadm list lu takes more time because of the cache invalidation by an unknown thread. Whenever a command is executed to list LUNs, a fresh snapshot of LUNs is generated due to the zeroed cache, which causes a delay in listing the LUNs.
Workaround: Perform the following steps on the iSCSI Initiator:
Remove the links to LUNs that are not accessible.
# devfsadm -Cv
Remove the discovery address of the unreachable iSCSI target host.
# iscsiadm remove discovery-address target-address
