You can install multiple asset management servers that run against a single installation of the Oracle Commerce Platform. All servers run against the same ATG Content Administration database.
Caution: Never use the same Oracle Commerce Platform installation for more than one cluster.
To create a cluster of asset management servers:
Perform the initial installation and set up of the Oracle Commerce Platform, including ATG Content Administration. Configure the initial asset management server as described in Setting Up an Asset Management Server.
Use the Dynamo Server Admin to create additional instances of asset management servers. The process is described in detail in “Installing Multiple Dynamo Servers” in the Platform Installation and Configuration Guide. By default each additional server inherits the settings of the initial server.
Make sure that all servers point to the same database.
