Viewing the Notification Log
Oracle Sales Compensation provides a notification log that lets you know when you need to recalculate a salesperson's compensation plans.
To view the notification log:
1. Navigate to the Notify Log form.
By default, choose User Notifications from the Administration menu.
The Notify Log form displays this information:
Name: The name of the action you need to take.
Date: The date the event occurred.
Object Type: The type of object that requires action to be taken.
Object Name: The name of the object.
Object Owner: The userid who created the object.
Status: The status of the object--either Complete or Incomplete.
Priority: The priority of the action that needs to be taken. The lower the number, the higher the priority.
2. Select the action you want to resolve.
Oracle Sales Compensation displays the event that caused the need for you to take action. This information is displayed:
Name: The name of the event that caused the notification.
Date: The date the event occurred.
User Name: The name of the user logged in when this event occurred.
Where: The name of the form the user was in when this event occurred.
Object Type: The object in the system that is affected by the event.
Object Name: The name of the object.
3. You can choose any of these buttons:
Order By Date: Order the list of actions by date of occurrence.
Order By Owner: Order the list of actions by Object Owner.
Complete: Change the status of the notification to Complete. Oracle Sales Compensation does not validate that the event was correctly resolved.
Incomplete: Change the status of the notification to Incomplete.
