Process of Installing SSSE in a Microsoft Exchange 2007 Environment

This topic describes the process of installing SSSE in a Microsoft Exchange 2007 Server environment.

To install SSSE in a Microsoft Exchange 2007 Server environment, perform the following tasks:

1. Installing Exchange 2007 System Management Tools
2. Installing Messaging Application Program Interface
3. Installing MSXML 4.0 SP2 (for Microsoft Exchange 2007)
4. Checking Domain Controller Properties (for Microsoft Exchange 2007)
5. Configuring Firewalls for Use with SSSE
6. Installing Siebel Server for PIMSI Dispatcher
7. Installing Siebel Server for PIMSI Engine
8. Installing Siebel Exchange Connector

To prepare the Microsoft Exchange 2007 Server environment, first perform Step 1 through Step 4. Except where otherwise indicated, perform these tasks on each PIMSI Engine computer and each Exchange Connector computer. Then perform Step 5 through Step 8.
