Process of Installing SSSE in a Microsoft Exchange 2000 Environment

This topic describes the process of installing SSSE in a Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server environment.

To install SSSE in a Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server environment, perform the following tasks:

1. Installing Exchange 2000 System Management Tools
2. Installing Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 3
3. Installing Microsoft Exchange Server Service Pack 3 Rollup
4. Installing MSXML 4.0 SP2
5. Checking Domain Controller Properties
6. Configuring Firewalls for Use with SSSE
7. Installing Siebel Server for PIMSI Dispatcher
8. Installing Siebel Server for PIMSI Engine
9. Installing Siebel Exchange Connector

To prepare the Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server environment, perform Step 1 through Step 5. Except where otherwise indicated, perform these tasks on each PIMSI Engine computer and each Exchange Connector computer. Then perform Step 6 through Step 9.
