Contact and Account Quick Lists and Alphabet Bar


You can view a list of contacts and accounts for your territory using the quick list on the left side of the interface. The quick list displays contact or account information in two lists.

You can do the following from the quick list:

  • Alternate between the list of contacts and accounts in your list view by clicking Contacts or Accounts.
  • Minimize or expand the quick list, by clicking the left (<<) or right (>>) arrows.
  • Sort the data in the contact or account list by selecting a field from the Arrange By list above the quick list:
    • Name. Sorts contacts or accounts alphabetically by last name.
    • Last Visited. Sorts contacts or accounts by the date of the last visit to the contact or account.
    • Rank. Sorts contacts or accounts in numeric order.

      This field corresponds to the Market Potential field setting in Siebel CRM, and sorts contacts or accounts as follows: 1 (High), 2 (Medium), and 3 (Low).

  • Filter the contact or account list by clicking a letter in the alphabet bar.

    This action positions the contact or account list as the first available last name in the list with the selected letter.

  • View a contact's or account's summary information by double-clicking a specific contact or account from the quick list. The summary information is provided as a vCard, a summary display of the customer profile information similar to a business card. From the vCard that is displayed, you can do the following:
    • Display the Contact Profile or Account Profile page by clicking 360 in the vCard.
    • Display the Call Detail page to schedule a call by clicking Schedule a Call for Today in the vCard.
