Call Plan Area


You can view contact or account information for any scheduled or planned meetings in the Call Plan area that appears in the upper-right side of the home page. In this section, contact or account information is provided in vCard format for any calls. A scheduled call is a call where the meeting time has been agreed with the customer. A planned call is a call where the day is known but not the time of the meeting. In a scheduled call, the activity field is set to Appointment. In a planned call, it is set to Task. The default display shows call meetings that are scheduled for today.

You can do the following from the Call Plan area:

  • Show the vCards with contact or account information for planned calls, by clicking Planned.
  • Show the vCards with contact or account information for scheduled calls, by clicking Scheduled.
  • Change the calendar date to a previous date, or a date in the future using the right and left arrows at the top of the section, or you can pick a day by clicking the date and using the calendar date selector.
  • Arrange the vCards by selecting a field that you want to sort from the Arrange By list.

    For scheduled call vCards:

    • Start. Sorts the vCards by the start time and date of the meeting.
    • City. Sorts the vCards by the city where the meeting is located.
    • Name. Sorts the vCards alphabetically by the last name.

      For planned call vCards:

    • Account Name. Sorts the vCards by the name of the account.
    • City. Sorts the vCards by the city where the meeting is located.
    • Last Name. Sorts the vCards alphabetically by the last name.
  • Scroll through the displayed vCards using the left and right arrows.
  • Display the Call page by clicking View Scheduled Call on a vCard for a scheduled call.

    Clicking View Scheduled Call on a planned call converts it to a scheduled call and moves the vCard from the Planned Call view to the Scheduled Call view.

  • Display the Contact Profile or Account Profile page for a contact or account by clicking anywhere on the contact or account vCard.
  • Minimize the Call Planning Navigator by clicking Minimize in the upper-right corner of the navigator section.
