Installing Siebel Analytics Components (UNIX)

This process describes how to install only the Siebel Analytics Server software under UNIX. For instructions to install other Siebel Analytics components under Windows, see Installing Siebel Analytics Under Windows.

In UNIX, the default installation directory is /usr/local/SiebelAnalytics. The following steps refer to this location as $INSTALLDIR. (You may need to contact your administrator to create this directory and give you write permission.)

This process contains the following tasks:

• Downloading Siebel Analytics Installation Files
• Using the Correct Analytics Installation Type
• Running the Analytics Installer Script
• UNIX Installation Script Prompts

NOTE:  You can delete the installation directory after saving any repositories and configuration files. A remove utility is not provided for UNIX. See Uninstalling or Upgrading Siebel Analytics (UNIX).
