Running the Analytics Installer Script

This task is part of the process Installing Siebel Analytics Components (UNIX).

Run the installer script for the Siebel Analytics installation option you have purchased, as shown in Table 19.

NOTE:  Default ports are used for installation. If you want to modify the port numbers, see NQSConfig.INI File Reference.

To install the Siebel Analytics software under UNIX

  1. In the installation directory, use the command:

    run [installer script]

    where [installer script] is the name of the script that you have identified in Table 19.

    TIP:   The installation script has various prompts and default answers to prompts. The prompts and their defaults and meanings (for each installation option) are shown in UNIX Installation Script Prompts.

  2. Proceed to Testing the Siebel Analytics Server Installation (UNIX).
