Creating Event Orders Associated with a Function


Perform the following steps to create an order and associate it with a quote function that already has a primary order associated with it.

After the primary order is created, other orders can be added to the quote and associated with the function record. These orders are created and associated under the Quote screen > Functions Line Item View.

This task is a step in Process of Generating and Managing Event Orders.

To create an order and associate it with a function

  1. Navigate to the Order screen > Event Order List view.
  2. In the Orders list, query for the order record.
  3. In the Order record, click the link in the Order # field.
  4. In the order Functions list, query for the function.
  5. In the function record, click the select button in the Order # field, and in the Order dialog box, click New.
  6. In the new record, complete the Type field, and then click Save.
  7. Click OK to associate the new order with the function record.
