Process of Installing the Siebel Server

The Siebel Server installation process requires multiple tasks that you should perform in the following sequence:

1. Review deployment requirements. See Siebel Server Installation Requirements.
2. Verify the Siebel Database Server access. See Configuring Database Connectivity.
3. Verify Siebel Server network access. See Verifying Network Connectivity for the Siebel Server Machine.
4. Install and configure the Siebel Server. See Installing and Configuring the Siebel Server.
5. Perform postinstallation tasks. See Postinstallation Tasks for Siebel Server.
