Setting SWSE Directory Permissions

The Web server administrator and all Siebel users and groups should have read and execute permission on all Siebel Web Server Extension (SWSE) virtual directories. If these permissions are not granted, login pages will not be rendered properly.

The SWSE should have read and write permissions to the SWEAPP_ROOT\public\language\images directory on the Web server machine (where SWSE is installed), so that static public image files can be cached on the Web server to enhance application performance.
