Setting Up Siebel eBanking for Account Aggregation

The following steps are required to set up Siebel eBanking for Account Aggregation services:

Set the Required System Preferences

Start the Siebel eFinance application and login as the system administrator. Choose View > Site Map > Application Administration > System Preferences.

The records described in Table 17 need to be modified.

Description
AAG Update Interval
24
This setting is used to determine if a batch update of all user accounts should occur when the system admin invokes the Refresh All command to retrieve aggregated account data that stored at Yodlee (this is cached data as opposed to real-time data). Because Yodlee only refreshes data every 24 hours, Siebel eBanking will verify that the last refresh was at least 24 hours prior before executing a Refresh All command.

Set the Admin Login

The Account Aggregation system will generate its own processes that require access to the Siebel System and the Siebel eService application. As a result, the System Administrator's login and password should be entered. Make sure that the administrator has the Web Registered User responsibility and is able to access the Siebel Database.

To set the admin login

  1. From Siebel eFinance, choose View > Site Map > Account Aggregation Administration > Account Aggregation Admin Information.
  2. Click Initialize.
  3. Type the Admin login and password and click Save.

Create AAG Literature Files

The Account Aggregation Literature files display when a user first registers for AAG.

The files should include the account aggregation services Terms and Conditions as specified by your organization. An example of the literature files include: file 1, Marketing Page of Account Aggregation Services; file 2, Terms and Conditions of AAG for your Organization.

NOTE:  You can use any HTML editor to create these files.

Load AAG Literature Files

When you have literature files created, you will need to load them.

To load AAG literature files

  1. From Siebel eFinance, choose View > Site Map > Document Administration > Literature.
  2. Add a record for the first literature file that the user will see when they register for Account Aggregation. Use the same name as specified in the System Preferences, AAG Lit section, and System Preference Value field (such as Name).
  3. Include the following link at the end of the first literature file: <href=start.sweSWECmd=InvokeMethod&SWEMethod=ShowYlProductLit1&SWEView=FINS+eBanking+AAGH+Home+View&SWEApplet=FINS+eBanking+AAGH+Home+Applet>
  4. Add the second literature file as needed. You can name the file name1.
  5. Include the same link at the end of the file as in step 3, but replace the number after ShowYlProductLit from 1 to 2.
  6. Continue to add files as needed, maintaining the same naming convention (include the same link and naming convention as in the third and fourth steps).
  7. Stop and restart the Siebel Server.

Download or Update the Account Aggregation Service List (Datafeed Solution Only)

For the Account Aggregation Datafeed Solution users, the administrator will have to download the list of service providers that Yodlee currently supports for aggregation services.
