Administering Account Aggregation


For Siebel administrators, all related account aggregation administration functions can be performed from View > Site Map > Account Aggregation Administration.

The following views are available for performing administrative tasks:

Datafeed Solution

The list of financial institutions that Yodlee retrieves data from will continue to grow as they sign new partners and customers. Therefore, it is important that the administrator regularly updates the AAG Service List.

To update the Account Aggregation Service List

  1. From Siebel eFinance, choose View > Site Map > Account Aggregation Administration > Account Aggregation Service List.
  2. Click Update List.
  3. A call is invoked into the Yodlee API to retrieve the latest list of service providers.

    NOTE:  The call may take a few minutes to complete.

The Account Aggregation Contact list contains information on all users who have signed up for account aggregation through the financial institution. This list of contacts automatically updates whenever a new user signs up for the service.

If a user is no longer a customer of the organization, the administrator can unregister that user from the account aggregation services.

To unregister a user

  1. From Siebel eFinance, choose View > Site Map > Account Aggregation Administration > Account Aggregation Contact List. If there is no Datafeed Solution installed together with the Hosted Solution, choose View > Site Map > Account Aggregation Administration > Account Aggregation (Hosted) Contact List.
  2. Select the user to be deleted and click Unregister.

The administrator is able to perform a cached refresh of selected user's aggregated account information by selecting this button. Yodlee updates the aggregated account information of all of its registered users at regular 24 hour intervals, and this data is stored in the Yodlee database. In Siebel eBanking, the administrator can download that cached data for selected users.

To refresh cached data for a user

  1. From Siebel eFinance, choose View > Site Map > Account Aggregation Administration > Account Aggregation Contact List.
  2. Select a user and click Refresh.
  3. This is a cached refresh as opposed to a real-time refresh, which can be performed by the customer.

The administrator can perform a cached refresh of all registered users' aggregated account information. This will invoke a business service to call Yodlee to retrieve aggregated account information for all registered customers that is stored at the Yodlee database.

To refresh all cached data

Hosted Solution

The Account Aggregation (Hosted) Contact List view contains the list of all users who have signed up for account aggregation through the financial institution (if the financial institution selected the Hosted Solution). This list of contacts automatically updates whenever a new user signs up for the service.

If a user is no longer a customer of the organization, the administrator can selectively unregister users from the account aggregation services.

To unregister a user (hosted solution)

  1. From Siebel eFinance, Choose View > Site Map > Account Aggregation Administration > Account Aggregation (Hosted) Contact List.
  2. Select the appropriate user and click Unregister.
Reinitializing Account Aggregation

The Reinitialize Account Aggregation (Hosted) Environment view allows the administrator to reinitialize the account aggregation hosted services, in the event that the service is accidentally dropped.
