Siebel Analytics Scripts for the C Shell


The scripts for the C shell are shown in Table 8.

Script
Purpose
run-ccs.csh
Starts the cluster controller.
Usage: run-ccs.csh { start | stop | forcestop }
run-sa.csh
An automatic tool that calls sa.csh and starts the Siebel Analytics Server.
run-sa.csh stop
Stops the Siebel Analytics Server.
run-saw.csh
An automatic tool that calls saw.csh and starts the Siebel Analytics Web Server.
run-sch.csh
Starts the scheduler.
Usage: run-sch.csh { start | stop -p <password>}
sa.csh
Sets up the environment for manual management. Run this under the current shell (source the script). Under this mode, you can run the Siebel Analytics Server manually.
sa-cli.csh
Sets up the environment for running the Siebel Analytics Client. Run this under the current shell (source the script). If you are managing the server manually, you need to open a separate session to do this.
sa-init.csh
Sets up basic Siebel Analytics Server settings. Run this to keep settings up to date after you make any changes to .reg files. This includes changes to files used by the Siebel Analytics Web (for example, when you change the Web Catalog path).
saw.csh
Sets up the environment for manual management of Siebel Analytics Web. Run this under the current shell (source the script). Under this mode, you can run the Siebel Analytics Web Server manually.
user.csh
Sets up user-specific items such as the database. You do not need to run this script separately. It will be called from sa.sh.
