working with lightweight clients

WebLogic Collaborate supports trading partner lightweight clients to give small and medium-size enterprises, or enterprises with little or no back-end integration requirements, a simple integration path to communicate with business partners who deploy WebLogic Collaborate. Such enterprises can use two kinds of trading partner lightweight clients: browser clients and file-sharing clients. The WebLogic Collaborate online documentation helps you with each step in the process of putting lightweight clients to work in your system.

Step 1. Learn About Trading Partner Lightweight Clients

See Getting Started Using WebLogic Collaborate for a brief overview of trading partner lightweight clients.

Step 2. Set Up Your System

To configure your WebLogic Collaborate system to interact with trading partner lightweight clients, see Configuration Requirements.

To configure a trading partner lightweight client, see Trading Partner Lightweight Client Sample.

Step 3. Run the Sample

To run the trading partner lightweight client sample, see Trading Partner Lightweight Client Sample.

Step 4. Use the JSP Tag Library

If your WebLogic Collaborate system interacts with browser clients, you need to use the JSP tag library. For information about the JSP tag library, see:
