About Licensing
 

There are two types of standard product licenses that contain different levels of functionality: 

  • The WebLogic Portal license: This full license enables all product services: Portal, Campaign, Commerce, and Personalization.

  • The WebLogic Personalization Server only license: This license enables the Personalization services only.

During the product software installation, all components are installed. However, your license file is checked at runtime to determine which features you can use. The following table summarizes the key features that are supported in BEA WebLogic Portal Server, and WebLogic Personalization Server.
