Modifying the Communication Configuration to Support Chat Transfer to Workgroup Functionality


Modify the communication configuration to support chat transfer to workgroup functionality, according to the workgroup LOV data types that you created in Verifying Workgroup LOV Data Types. This task is a step in Process of Setting Up Siebel Chat Transfer to Agent or Workgroup.

To modify the communication configuration to support chat transfer to workgroup functionality

  1. Navigate to the Administration - Communications screen, then the All Configurations view.
  2. Select the communications configuration record that you want to modify, then click the Commands tab.
  3. Configure the BlindTransferToWorkgroup command as follows:
    1. Drill down on the BlindTransferToWorkgroup command, click the Command Parameters tab, and add the command parameters with the values shown in the following table.

    2. Click the Subcommands tab, and add the subcommands with the order shown in the following table.

  4. To configure the BlindTransferGroup command, drill down on the BlindTransferGroup command, click the Subcommands tab, and add the subcommands shown in the following table.
