Preface

The Sun Javatrademark System Content Delivery Server Reference Manual provides an architectural overview of the Content Delivery Server. It also describes the concepts used within the Content Delivery Server such as content protection, billing, workflows, provisioning and more. This document is written for anyone who works on or with the Content Delivery Server such as system administrators, integrators, Catalog Manager and Vending Manager administrators who want to understand the basic concepts of the Content Delivery Server and how the various parts of Content Delivery Server work together.

This guide is a reference source for the Content Delivery Server and does not describe how to set up or run the Content Delivery Server.
